Pineapple Pete's co-opts most of an alley between the lagoon and the main drag on Welfare Road in Simpson Bay. T-shirts dangle from the rafters in the main room (with five pool tables and dart boards), where yachters, local businesspeople and timeshare owners marinate and get tight (in both slang meanings). The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced -- signature dishes include crab-stuffed shrimp, lobster thermidor, and dark rum creme brulee, not to mention a great burger.

Infectious live music keeps things rocking half the week, including Saturdays (jazz trio), Blues Inc (and reggae) Tuesdays, and Fridays starring local stalwart Ronny Santana (classic rock garnished with R&B).
